Preamble
One of the wonders of this present age, which I strongly believe is the last generation before the return of the Lord, is the collapse of Islam and the release of its captives. This, we anticipate, and urge the church to strategically position herself in partnership with God for a bumper harvest that will ensue. In the recent
time, we confirm an unusual craving for education by the Desert Tribe, particularly the Fulani people. This, you will agree with me, contradicts the cultural orientation of the people, which is Islamic and anti-Western in perspective. We know that the recent challenge of continental stigma, national identity as well as
economic positioning in the wake of a changing world must have motivated this craving.
Here in Nigeria, for instance, the violent approach of the Fulani people in solving this problem has earned them public condemnation and stigmatization. The Christian believers should not share with others their derogatory and enemy-posture perspectives. God has a different view. First and foremost, Fulani are also human, and they deserve the salvation Christ brought at the expense of His life. The missionary view is that they are included in the Great Commission and we should be ready to spend and be spent in extending the gospel light to them regardless of their present dented status in the society, especially now that they are craving for education, which to us is a wheel in our hand for spreading the gospel.
Fulani Crave for Education
For over a year now, the elders in a cluster of five (5) Fulani camps in some parts of Oyo State of Nigeria have been asking us to establish a school for their children. Also, recently, we received a report from our mission field in north of Ghana, that Fulani people of various nationalities, settled in Ghana have
been mounting constant pressure on our missionaries to set up school for their children. We prayed about it and we confirmed it is God’s will for us to take this up as a project, which we believe will aid the harvest of the people group for Christ.
Our Prospect
We trust God that with prayerful establishment and sustenancece of a school for the Fulani children, an inroad is created for the gospel and a harvest of Fulani souls for Christ. In Oke-ogun Mission Field, we have a team of Fulani Missionaries to pilot this project, while in Tamale, Ghana, we have a Missionary
Couple (Hausa-speaking) working to run the school.
Target Community
A cluster of five (5) Fulani Camps children’s population of about five hundred (500)

1. To construct a three (3) Classroom building for a primary school.
2. To set up a Solar-powered computerized teaching package called ‘School-on-Air’.
3. To employ a staff for system operation
