God, who has been engaging us concerning the End Time battle, the strategy and the strategic movement, is again coming to us this time. “The gate of hell shall not prevail,” He gave us His promise. “For I am with you, even to the ends of the world,” He assures us. The last mission conference was a spark. A spark is never a fire, we must not wait before the iron becomes hot, we must keep hitting till the iron becomes hot. Pushing the battle to the gate is our mandate, upon whom the end of the world has come. “Slack not,” we’re commanded!
It was Oswald Smith that wrote in his book, “the cry of the world:” “our only hope is in the young people. Unless they go (not stay), the job will never be done, for no one else, (besides the young) can do it.” The Lord requires the dew of our youth. In His infinite mercy, He has called several into spiritual discipleship with him many years ago, he will be recruiting many sons and daughters as well. Without doubt, He— God, has something in mind for doing this. Will He invest in a man just for decoration? He does not waste His resources. No one else can kill Goliath, if not for the young David who has been anointed by Him even at His young age. What shall we say of Daniel? Happy is he, who has grown old at his young age, he will not waste time experimenting life.
Many have the heart to serve the Lord, but the burden of their hearts lack direction. They are passionate, but lack purpose. They are zealous, but they are not strategic neither do they have knowledge. For this reason, the Lord calls us together for a solemn assembly. For some, it is a call into deeper devotion and intimacy. Both the message and the messenger must be from God. Our message has no authority, if The Authority in heaven does not back it up with power. Will God ever undertake for a stranger? Here is the need for an undivided loyalty and devotion to the Lord. We are as powerful as the level of the depth we have reached in God, and this depends on the level of our communion with Him in the secret place. If God will reveal anything through anyone, He must have revealed it to him in the secret. Here, we see the need for a solemn call, diverting our attention from this world’s pollution to heaven’s reality.
Burden is the fuel of prayers, you only stay in prayers as long as you’re burdened. Burden is the fuel of evangelism. Burden makes a man restless until he has found a place to release them in prayers. A burdened man cannot rest until he sees the counsel of God been established on the face of the Earth. Wild animals are all over, a burdened man dares anything. Resoluteness, Resilience, Relentlessness, is his definition. He must go until he comes. He must preach until he stops him. Discouragement is just but a catalyst to him. He is done with prosperity, plaudits, promotion, popularity or position. He is only moved by what God is moved with. The heartbeat of God, he feels. He is grieved with what grieves God. The agony of Calvary runs hot in his heart. The cry of Jesus is still a fresh revelation to him. Do unto us, what you do to the men you used.
