The NEED TO TEACH THE CHURCH AGain THAT WE ought TO TEACH THE WORLD

The church, more than ever before, is in a dilemma about being told what she should be telling others. As Paul wrote in Hebrews 5:12, “For when for the time, ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again, that which be the first principles of the oracles of God…”, the Church today has forgotten how we got to where we are. The only reason why the Gospel has spread around the world is that the first church took on the mandate of taking the Message of the gospel to all the earth. The Church, the ecclesia of God, has one mission, and that is, to colonise the world with the civilisation of Zion, from where we all hail from.

Seeing how the Church has survived through the dark ages, it is so clear that the gates of hell can not and will not prevail against the Church. However, the concern is that the church, as we transition from generation to generation, has lost touch with its original mandate. It is for this reason that we need to teach ourselves again so we can be sent to teach the world

This writeup is an intentional call to make us delve into the crux of mission and what it means so we can be well equipped for whatever ministry we do in the last days. Click on this link to start a modular self-paced course on Mission Awareness. For as many who would take up the challenge and commitment to run this course, I will be seeing us on the other side as this book is meant to take us on a journey to the other side even as we engage the courses.

Our next Students’ Mission Conference comes up in less than two months at LAUTECH, Ogbomosho. More information will be communicated to us in due course.
